General Safety Certificate and Guidance Notes for Regulated Stands (Specimen)

The guide is intended to assist those responsible for preparing and drawing up general safety certificates for regulated stands controlled under the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987. The Guide builds on the advice given in the LDSA publication "Safety of Sports Grounds Specimen general Safety Certificate and Guidance Notes", which relates generally to designated sports grounds, and provides information to enable reasonable safety to be maintained in a variety of sporting venues where regulated stands are in use.
